ABSTRACT

Culture change management (CCM) is a slow process that brings about a gradual change in an organization's ability to handle change initiatives without disrupting the organization's performance. It focuses on changing the organization's frame of reference (FOR), making the organization more resilient. Adoption of a total quality management, supply chain management, CRM, or most other philosophy will have some cultural implications. Personality is defined as the way an individual or group reacts to a specific set of circumstances. An individual's personality will undergo major shifts during a single day based on specific conditions the individual finds himself or herself in at that particular point in the day. Organizational culture is the basic pattern of shared beliefs, behaviors, norms, values, and expectations acquired over a long period of time by members of an organization. The basic operating mode of CCM is to involve everyone in the organization in a continuous flow of change opportunities, many of which are self-originated and implemented.
