ABSTRACT
There is an evident continuity through all the phases of capitalism that calls for a deeper explanation than the current mainstream, and mainstream Marxist banality, of the production and exchange of commodities. It also lends an intellectual dignity and credibility to neoliberalism, which can now drag in its intellectual emptiness the masses of those who are in its favour as well as the masses of those who are against it. The combination of entrepreneurial intents and company goals within a metaphysical intellectual framework links managerialism, fascism and, naturally, neoliberalism. As with neoliberalism in general, the unilateral dominant intellectuality of the metaphysics of capitalism uses of a language made up of artifices and methods to diminish human capability and its potential to emancipate humanity. The ruthless attitude to conflict of managerialism and its oppressive character can equally apply to a nation-state, private airlines or a national electrical company.
