ABSTRACT
Fraud and deception of all kinds have always played a great part in criminology, and certain special aspects of these arts will now be considered. The dominating instinct, as we shall see, in the majority of these cases which deal with sorcery, hidden treasure, exorcism, and so on, was a deliberate intent to deceive.
