ABSTRACT
This example is concerned with the utilization of ground-mounted high-to-medium voltage transformers of the distribution system for an Electricity Board within the United Kingdom. These transformers step down the voltage from 1 1,000 or 6,600 to the 240 volts used for domestic supply. There are at present over 7,000 in the Board’s area.
