ABSTRACT

Learning is considered as high impact learning that lasts (HILL) when the learners enriches effectively his or her body of knowledge, skills and attitudes (KSAs) in such a way that the learner's professional functioning changes and consequently influences future situations in her/his working context. High Impact Learning is not a training or teaching method; it is a way to improve the impact of the learning programme. The HILL model is about the learning of young adults, professionals and experts. It is about the many possibilities to inspire and to support adults in their continuous L&D process, aiming to create value for the society of today and tomorrow. Ultimately, the HILL model can serve as a guide for everyone who has a responsibility for L&D. Ultimately, the HILL model can serve as a guide for everyone who has a responsibility for L&D.
