ABSTRACT

We were a small group early on, around 16 people talking high-level ideas, so facilitated meetings and consensus was feasible. The later stages were harder. All of a sudden we had a bigger group of people from contrasting corporate cultures having to agree – and get internal sign-off – on very specific projects and commitments. As a result, we had to evolve our way of working together along the way. We are now developing a more formal governance structure with trustees and voting rules.
