ABSTRACT

A website is a company's face to the world, and more than ever in the past, the first point of contact with the company. The small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) website is the best platform a small business can use to display its social mission and corporate responsibility profile. Social media are among the most powerful communications tools that a small business can use, free of charge, to enhance awareness, market presence and build a network. This is not the place for a detailed review of all the social media tools available to SMEs but things like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, YouTube and others are critical to building SME business. If SME business owner like social media and web platforms, he can enhance his reporting and the delivery of his sustainability messages with short movies which showcase reader business, people and performance.
