ABSTRACT

To ease the undoubted challenge of understanding just how the human brain is a key component of Natural Corporate Management, the authors begin good-naturedly by comparing the human brain with one of America’s most popular sports. The human brain is the most complex natural system in the known universe. To understand how the brain influences corporate management, people need to know a little something about its “wiring”—some of the main parts, how they interact with each other, and the results produced. The brain cells of greatest significance are the neurons because they are the activators and generators of all brain action. Each of the brain’s neurons comes with a built-in energy potential which can be either at rest or active, but when active these potentials are the drivers of everything the brain does. The neocortex prefrontal lobe is the brain’s executive command post that resolves conflicting neural signals coming from disparate brain regions.
