ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book refers to as one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century, who was on a lifelong quest to understand and communicate what makes life meaningful. It introduces people to such a map, called the Holistic Development Model, which provides a clear, simple and profound framework of the dimensions and process of living and working meaningfully. The book describes to help people access what people already know deep down but may struggle to bring to the surface. It talks about meaningfulwork and life. While the research was done on work and organisations, it is in the very nature of meaningfulness that it speaks to the whole person. The book relates to peoples own search for meaning and how to share that with others.
