ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a case study for the expansion and consolidation of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in University of Auckland, New Zealand. It provides an overview of the challenge(s) faced in relation to mainstreaming responsible management, an explanation of the actions taken in relation to the challenge(s), information about the results and benefits of the actions taken, and some points regarding the role of PRME/sustainability principles to carry out the activity. Contemporary education in the field of responsibility emphasises primarily intellectual issues and as such is largely about responsibility. Two exercises are drawn from a collection designed to inspire positive change and further the core ideals of PRME by exemplifying creative curriculum design and delivery for a more globally responsible and sustainable world. The first works directly with the self-imposed barriers that learners confront when they try to act more responsibly, and the second with the positivity that comes from engaged and effective altruism.
