ABSTRACT
The greatest opportunity for making a positive impact on the directions society is taking, with respect to the environment, lies with the corporate sector. In addition, whether or not corporations take the lead in this area could significantly impact their long-term competitiveness and survival. Such efforts require not just a local or even regional focus, but a broader global outlook as well.
