ABSTRACT
The assessment of the country’s diversification towards manufacturing sectors is based on
annual data from the UAE Bureau of Statistics National Accounts estimates. These cover
the 1975-2010 period, representing both real UAE oil Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and
manufacturing sector GDP, measured annually in the local UAE currency at 2001 constant
prices.
