ABSTRACT

Biologists have long believed in the similarities between humans and other species. Charles Darwin made the case by arguing that all animals are linked by their evolutionary history: “Every evolutionist will admit that the five great vertebrate classes, namely, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes, are descended from someone prototype; for they have much in common, especially during their embryonic state." The adaptations of yesterday are the constraints of today. As a result, human alternatives are limited. Biologists have not dealt well with the illusory veils of humans' lives, especially those that cover their inadequacies and hide their ultimate fate. In dealing with hard realities people immerse themselves in religion and self-deception. Man is an evolutionary experiment, initiated with the first single cell and extending through 3.5 billion years. Each new successful ancestor retained the rules of life that permitted it to survive and reproduce.
