ABSTRACT

One of the most striking features of Thomas Woodrow Wilson's character was what he called his one-track mind. Tommy Wilson was especially fortunate. The libido of little "Tommy" Wilson, like the libido of all other human beings, first began to store itself in Narcissism and to find discharge through love of himself. The Ego of little Tommy Wilson found no great difficulty in reconciling his conflicting desires with regard to his mother. It is unnecessary to restate the facts with regard to Wilson's childhood which have been recorded in the Digest of Data. The facts recorded in the Digest of Data with regard to Wilson's childhood relationship to his father present a remarkable picture of adoration. It is clear that much more of Wilson's libido found outlet through his relationship to his father than found outlet through his relationship to his mother.
