ABSTRACT

In the investigator's opinion—he feels he knows the family quite well—the Coreys are a good, simple couple, who worry about their large family but continue to have children because they are deeply religious. Investigator believes that there will have to be a really widespread upswing in business before an unskilled person such as Mr. Corey could be placed. Mr. Corey attended the Christian Brothers' High School in Ireland and was graduated from that institution. Mr. Corey's father and mother are living in Ireland; his father makes a meager living as a shoemaker. Mrs. Corey says that she had a very hard life as a child in Ireland and bemoans the fact that she had so little education. Mr. Corey is a pleasant person, with a ready smile and a mild, quiet manner. Mr. Corey worked in the stone quarries but was dissatisfied with the work.
