ABSTRACT
THE WELL-KNOWN ACTOR Jack Palance is from Lattimer Mines, and when this book first appeared he bought an option to produce it as a television movie. The project came to naught, but for a time it raised my spirits and allowed me to hope. I still think the story deserves to be dramatized in film.
