ABSTRACT

The pressure in a time from those who are devoted to fanatical moral inversion may be linked with a newly arrogant pressure which is coming from those of the schizoid minority who are also sexual perverts. Perversion is not in itself to be 'condemned', but it is certainly a form of false behaviour. The confessions of perverts are not true confessions but rather desperate rationalizations, and attempts to glorify behaviour which is essentially a mark of the failure to find meaning. The pervert's private world of idolized sexual activity is out of touch with reality, and is especially separated from ethical values. Masud Khan implies a human truth and an 'ethical statement' in the light of which the 'progressive' ethos only seems likely to leave society too much open to exploitation by those who seek to falsify and to harm sexual creativity itself.
