ABSTRACT

The following five case studies are presented as examples of the applied experimental-clinical method. The first four cases are young psychotic children, the last case is an older, multiply handicapped, neurotic child. The cases illustrate the use of experimental designs, numerous dependent variables, and simultaneous administration of multiple-behavior therapy programs, to the same child. At the present time, some of the children are gradually being returned to their homes; some will not return for at least an additional year. These are the most recent cases in residence and reflect the latest developments of the experimental-clinical method.
