ABSTRACT
Bill Carruthers was an independent television producer, located in Los Angeles, whom Haldeman was considering as a replacement for Roger Ailes, a flamboyant, modish talent. The job at hand was simply to edit a tape, but I was also to give my assessment to Haldeman on the new man as a possible producer of more ambitious White House television projects.
