ABSTRACT
In Chapter 3, the author introduced key concepts and definitions. In Chapter 4, the author introduced the functionalities of defense mechanisms, the selection process of defense mechanisms, and a detailed schematic diagram to implement defense mechanisms. In Chapter 5, he introduced a mathematical formalism and transformation rules to implement defense mechanisms of the human mind in artificial intelligence and in multi-agent systems. Furthermore, in Chapter 5, he described the functionalities of the defense mechanisms from a psychoanalytic and from a technical point of view. He explained the implemented data structures, the components of drive wishes, 1 and the components of perceptions from the environment of our software agents. He showed how to implement the transformation functions; he gave examples of transformation tables, and he gave an enumeration of the implemented defense mechanisms.
