ABSTRACT
Most fund raisers today are employees of charitable organizations. As such, they carry out their duties as part of a system that includes trustees, CEOs, other managers, and staff. Their efforts to raise gifts are inseparable from the behavior of other organizational members and from the collective behavior of the system.
