Synopsis The principal message of The 2nd Language of Leadership hinges on the critical premise that effective leadership behavior is a learned competency. The scientific information addressing that specific question is in its early evolution. Nonetheless, good news can be extrapolated from the behavior change literature that provides direction for people who want to learn effective behavior. In addition, a set of conditions exists that make such learning likely to occur.
