ABSTRACT
The two proximal causes of efficiency level, EL, are accuracy level, AL, and rate level, RL, as was purported in Chapter 1. Because reading achievement is being represented in the causal model by EL, this also means that the way to increase reading achievement is to increase AL or to increase RL.
