The way students look at school differs greatly from the way teachers look at school, from the way parents look at school, from the way taxpayers look at school, ad infinitum. That is not to imply, of course, that all students have the same perceptions—or that all parents, teachers, or taxpayers do. This is one of the characteristics of teaching that make it interesting. There is never a dull day!
