ABSTRACT
We are all familiar with family rituals. Some of them occur on holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, the 4th of July, Passover, or the Latin American Three Kings Day. On these special days families do a number of things in ways that are different from the ordinary. They trim trees, wrap and open presents, bake turkeys in a special way, color eggs, have religious ceremonies, go to parades, watch football games, etc.
