ABSTRACT
As a candidate for a teaching to hear others’ responses to the questions often asked at interviews. We did the next best thing. We asked 40 teacher interns (we use the terms teacher intern and candidate interchangeably) to respond spontaneously to two frequently asked questions. It is useful to study some of these unedited responses as a way to clarify the issues that are of greatest import to you and eavesdrop on what others might be saying. We devote this chapter to helping you analyze responses to each question and develop your own answers.
