ABSTRACT
A serious injury is anything short of death, such as amputation of the hand or foot, broken arms, legs, ankles, knees, fingers, thumb or toes, skull, spine or pelvis or loss of the sight of an eye or any other injury where the person injured is admitted to the hospital for more than 24 hours. 1
