Three Facets of Language Teacher Identity

Teacher identity is a complex and difficult concept. It is complex because the question of “who we are” evokes a vast array of both complementary and contradictory responses. It is difficult because, of all the matters considered in this book, it is the closest to the core of what it is to be a person and a moral agent and thus to the most sensitive issues of all.
