ABSTRACT

In chapter 3 you learned how to analyze data from a one-factor completely randomized ANOVA. Studies with more than one factor (or independent variable) are called factorial designs. In this chapter, you will learn how to analyze the simplest factorial design, a two-factor completely randomized design. In such designs, participants serve in a cell, which is simultaneously a certain level of one factor combined with a certain level of a second factor. Commands for the basic F tests and various kinds of follow-up tests are described.
