ABSTRACT

This chapter is concerned with computational issues. It demonstrate how to calculate and how to estimate the log-linear models presented in the previous chapters. In addition, the exploratory analysis of rater agreement is illustrated, and sample LISREL command files are given for the analysis of correlation matrices from different groups of raters. We focus on the six programs SYSTAT 10; SPSS 11; SAS 8; Lem; PAW95; CFA 2000; and LISREL. SYSTAT, SAS, and SPSS are general purpose statistical software packages. SPSS is a general purpose statistical software package. It can be used to perform a large number of statistical analyses and to create graphical representations. The second example uses zero order CFA as a base model. The Intraclass correlation coefficient is provided as a standard feature in the SPSS and the SYSTAT software package. LISREL is a program that requires command file input.
