ABSTRACT
Before computing any inferential statistics, it is necessary to code the data, enter the data into SPSS, and then do exploratory data analysis (EDA) as outlined below. This chapter will help you understand your data, help you to see if there are any errors, and help you to know if your data meet basic assumptions for the inferential statistics that you will compute.
