Organized activities have existed for much of recorded time. Papyrus records indicate that from 2052 B.C. to 1786 B.C. the Middle Kingdom of

Egypt's leaders introduced the subdivision of labor. In an early attempt to organize, Julius Caesar, around 59 B.C., used handwritten posters and sheets around Rome to keep people up-to-date. City states, villages, religions, and armies all required some type of organization.
