ABSTRACT

This chapter first uses the two data configurations that were introduced in chapter 8 to explore a series of content clusters that encompass major personality trait complexes. Each cluster has a vital bearing on criteria that define personality traits and the DSM Axis II designated disorders. What is known about them provides substantive material that is needed in order to implement the current approach to diagnosing the personality disorders (PDOs). The second half of the chapter examines the individual PDOs.
