ABSTRACT

When undertaking interpretation of the individual MMPI-2, the examiner should be familiar with the literature on how demographic factors can influence the record. Greene (2000) provided an exhaustive and incisive analysis of research on the effects of age, gender, educational level, occupation, income, marital status, race, and ethnicity. He further used the Caldwell and MMPI-2 normative data sets to illustrate variations. His review is an invaluable resource.
