ABSTRACT
It is useful to use mathematics as a constructive activity, and constructing objects as an integral component of learning mathematics. We are not saying that such construction is everything needed to learn, but it is far more important than something to be left to the “hard problems at the end of the topic” which are only ever done by the very best students.
