ABSTRACT
As a student, thoughts about ethical problems in your chosen profes-
sion probably seem far, far away, and much more theoretical than
practical at this point. However, in the not too distant future, perhaps
just a few months from now, you will be taking your first job and you
will almost immediately begin to confront very real ethical dilemmas,
some of which could affect the rest of your professional life. The pur-
pose of this chapter is to outline some common issues that you are
likely to encounter early on, and to provide you with some practical
tips for dealing with them.
