ABSTRACT
There are certain ethical principles that researchers should keep in mind when writing papers and reviewing the work of others. These ethical principles are no less real than those involving the protection of human subjects. The requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, 1997) and the American Psychological Association (2001) publication manual provide advice and discussion to supplement most of the issues raised in this chapter.
