ABSTRACT
One of the most basic and important data collection skills consultants should have in their toolkit is knowing how to be a good interviewer. Interviewing skills are used at all stages of a consulting project: from the first meeting with a prospective client, through diagnosis of the problem and action, to successful completion of the project. Good interviewing skills can yield valuable insights and information.
