ABSTRACT

In the preceding three chapters, we presented examples of different styles of A3s for the purposes of problem solving, proposal writing, and reporting project status. The styles represent variations on the theme of what we term A3 thinking, derived from common patterns of use we have observed in practice at Toyota. The example reports can serve as generic starting points for writing your own A3s. The discussion thus far has focused primarily on content. In this chapter, we shift focus to the form and style of A3 report writing.
