ABSTRACT
Long-term care (LTC) “covers a diverse array of services provided over a sustained period of time to people of all ages with chronic conditions and functional limitations.”1 The needs of long-term care patients range from help in performing daily activities to total care. Many providers in various settings, such as people’s homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes, take care of these needs.
