What Is a Relationship Map? A relationship map (Figure 4.1) visually depicts the “parts” of an organization, and the internal or external supplier-customer relationships among those parts. It follows a general left to right (resource conversion or throughput) sequence. ‡is sequence is represented by the same three components: Supplier, Organization, and Customer; think of this set as the default pattern or “template” for this type of map.
