ABSTRACT
Research design is a crucial aspect of the total research process. It is the strategic plan that will guide the remainder of the research study. Within this plan, the researcher decides the purpose of the research, the method of investigation, and the measuring principle to be utilized. As used in this chapter, research design refers to the processes of planning and carrying out a research study after the research question or problem has been conceptualized.
