ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we look at the community sentences which may be imposed on adult offenders, namely, the probation order, the community service order, and the combination order. However, the statutory criteria which have to be met before any of these orders can be made also have to be met for supervision orders and attendance centre orders (which may be made in respect of young offenders).
