ABSTRACT

When I first started working as a lawyer in court, I had to learn a lot in a hurry. I had to learn how to listen and speak to people, how to do research, and how to identify and solve problems for clients who put their trust in me. One of the things I remember being most impressed with was how persuasive many of my opponents were in court. In fact, they were often so persuasive, I was sometimes convinced my case had little merit.
