ABSTRACT

Bristol Mediation is chosen because it is a mainstream mediation service which has been running for five years, and is typical of good practice as this is generally understood. It is a fairly well-resourced service in an urban area with paid office-based staff and a large number of volunteer mediators. It offers community mediation for neighbours and schools, and has a number of special projects to its credit.1 It has an experienced and well-respected team of trainers.
