There is more to file management than paper clips and sellotape. The file is the tangible record of the legal work that is being done for the client. The file will contain a file management clip for checking the progress of the legal work as a well as a client management clip for checking that the work has been presented and delivered to the client in accordance with the firm’s client management system.
