WRITTEN TEST 1 You act for Moira Moore, a single mother of five children. Moira is a drug abuser who has failed to participate in various detoxification programmes organised for her by social services to deal with her addiction. As a consequence of her non-co-operation with social services, her continued addiction and her history of neglect of two of the children, all of the children were taken into local authority care, and have subsequently been placed with adoptive parents. Moira has not seen her children for two years, as this was the wish of the adopters.
