ABSTRACT
The UK has the highest divorce rate in Europe. During an average year 41% of marriages end in divorce and many clients will seek your advice and guidance about the law relating to family breakdown. In this chapter therefore we provide a brief survey of divorce and the law, practice and procedure relating to domestic violence.
