ABSTRACT

In contractual theory, a contract is formed by a process whereby one party makes an offer to the other. The other party then accepts the offer and there comes into being a binding contract. For example, an offer may be made by one party sending a quotation to the other and the acceptance made by the other party writing back to accept it.
