Maurice Kay J: This is an application by Greenpeace Limited, the corporate identity of Greenpeace UK, which is part of Greenpeace International. I shall refer to the Applicant as ‘Greenpeace’. It is a well known campaigning body, the prime object of which relates to the protection of the natural environment. Its legal standing to bring proceedings such as the present application is well established.
